Presenting to you the ultimate writing machine - the popular Olivetti Lettera 32. This one has a serial number 2 848 xxx and was made in 1967! Lettera 32 is an iconic typewriter - praised as one of the best writer machines. It is a great model for those - who wish to dive into reliable typewriter models - Olivetti typewriters are one of the most common typewriters with great reputation for sturdy mechanics, comfortable to use and relatively easy to maintain. Good for beginners, too. Very easy/intuitive to operate.
*TYPEFACE: French AZERTY keyboard. 10 cpi PICA typeface. Meaning there are 10 characters (letters, symbols) in 1 inch (2.54 cm)
*COSMETICS: This typewriter is in excellent condition! In fact, it is one the best Lettera 32 I have ever serviced, it is almost unused, minor to no age signs. The chrome is still in great condition. The machine is finished off with a protective, museum-quality wax in order to protect the paint from oxidation, dirt, scratches and fingerprints.
*MECHANICS: As with all our serviced typewriters - this one is in great mechanical condition. As part of our servicing this typewriter has been thoroughly cleaned and has received new ink. It is ready to withstand many hours of heavy typing with it's smooth carriage, light keys and sturdy design. It has 2 ink settings - meaning you can type in 2 inks simultaneously. For example - black and red. This typewriter comes with new black/red ink and plastic Olivetti spools.
*CASE: The case is in functional but mild condition. Cleaned and polished, works fine. The case is vintage, please note there is a tear in the back side (these old plastic cases always have a tear in the back side, but nevertheless the case is functional and can be used for storage and safely carrying your typewriter).
